For the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau I decided to circumnavigate the camp at Birkeanu. The camp itself was closed to the public and a vast white tent had been built for the official ceremony, obliterating the iconic entrance buildings. Some of the roads in the area were closed and swarming with police and army. It was a very strange day but I completed the tour and transmitted parts of it live to Facebook. Here is an unedited video of that tour.
